Benefits and Uses Of Tuning Forks in Massage
Instructor: Claude Grimes
The body is made of vibration and responds well to vibration, and research shows that cells communicate with one another via vibration. By introducing vibratory sound via acupuncture points along the body?s energetic pathways, we have the opportunity to attune the body on a cellular level.
Sound vibration opens the energetic pathways where the Qi or natural life force flows. As a result, energy blocks are removed, increasing the flow of Qi, and facilitating homeostasis where profound healing begins.
The sound waves created by the Tuning Forks work like kinetic energy to move disharmony and tension from the body, remove Qi stagnation, and help to restore a sense of balance and well-being.
After the vibration has ended, sound is still traveling through the body. Some people report they feel the sound for several hours to a few days after a treatment. Your body in its natural healing intelligence will utilize the sound it needs.
