Zen Sleep

The focus of ZEN SLEEP, a joint project between sleep researcher Dr. Lee Bartel and producer Donald Quan, was to create a soundscape that would help you relieve stress, and create a sense of calm. The recording accomplishes this goal in two ways. First, the music features melodies that are soft, spacious and perfect for relieving stress, with soothing Asian instruments like the erhu and guzheng, mixed with cello, synth ambience, flute and piano. Secondly, Dr. Bartel has employed brainwave entrainment frequencies in the delta range.
